Danny Fitzpatrick, MPA

  Danny Fitzpatrick has more than 20 years experience in corporate marketing as a video and event producer, but considers two layoffs and an unexpected eviction as the foundation for her current life calling as an entrepreneur and professional life coach.

   These events gave Fitzpatrick the opportunity to use her innate ability to make “a silk purse from a sow’s ear,” as one of her former managers put it, reinventing herself and her career goals.

In early 1998 she turned an eviction from a rental home into a financial success story when she bought residential property in the San Francisco market just before values skyrocketed. When she sold the home in 2007, the value had nearly quadrupled.

    As a video and event producer, Fitzpatrick contracted with top companies such as Sun Microsystems Inc., Apple Computer Inc., Oracle Corp., Bank of America Corp., Sony Corp., Shaklee Corp. and others. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University.

Fitzpatrick has used adversity to train for new opportunities. She earned a Master in Organizational Management, became a certified advanced meeting facilitator and a certified hospice volunteer.
